Shanghai Crowd Swarms K-Pop Idols

The Hallyu wave proves its reach again!

Korean music giants – BoA, f(x), Kangta, and Super Junior – received much love from Chinese fans as they reached the dragon land on May 30th to attend the Shanghai World Expo music festival on the same night.

It was reported that many fans waited for their Korean idols early at the airport, but security was still controlled. However, when the Korean stars were finally visible to the fans, it was ultimate pandemonium.

BoA alone was escorted by five to six guards. Kangta and f(x) were surrounded by fans and security had a hard time gathering these stars in the center, away from the fans. One even used his torch to stop the fans from taking photos.

When it was Super Junior’s turn, the usually peaceful airport turned into a fans-vs-security war zone. The number of security guards were nothing as to the huge crowd welcoming their idols. It was even said that Super Junior fans managed to block off exit points, making it even harder for the security and the idols themselves.

Because of the huge crowd, Super Junior members were forced to split up, but their journey came to a deadlock at the airport’s entrance. Completely chaotic, the security could not avoid to use force against the fans for the boys’ safety. Still dedicated, the fans never gave up and followed their idols to the where the idols parked their car.

After all the Korean artists left the airport, the place was all back to normal mode. Perhaps, the security group might have taken a long-deep, well-deserved sigh.

Super Junior Dominates Once More

With their Sorry Sorry success, many predicted that Super Junior’s 4th album will also be a huge hit. Not even months of promoting the album, Super Junior’s 4jib already landed a spot in mediatraffic, the world’s music chart.

Mediatraffic sums up music charts such as USA Billboard chart, Japan Oricon chart,England UK to bring music lovers information on who is currently dominating the music charts across the globe. In other words, landing a spot in this chart is not a piece of cake.

However, with Super Junior’s immense sales just weeks after the release of their 4th album, they ranked #7 on the list.Fans have been commenting on how fast Super Junior entered the list. Another k-pop domination? Well, we already know how fast k-pop is spreading around the world so it’s no wonder a Korean idol group entered the list. It seems like Super Junior’s 4jib is embracing very early success. Congratulations to the boys!

Super Junior’s Donghae Complains About Shin HyunJun

KBS 2TV ‘Celebrity Broadcast’ went on Guerilla Date with Super Junior membersLeeteuk, Shindong, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Siwon, and Eunhyuk. During the broadcast, Donghae called out actor Shin HyunJun. Why?

It seems like Super Junior’s Donghae is complaining about HyunJun because he won’t buy him food. Donghae claimed, “Shin HyunJun told me to call him, and that he’d buy me food, but he never picked up my call.”Who wouldn’t be attempted to complain when one promises free food but never obliged? Apparently, HyunJun was in the studio watching the interview and responded, “I want to answer his call, but I’m sleeping when you call at 3~4 in the morning,” causing much laughter in the set.

Try aiming for a better time to call if you want free food Donghae! The episode also showed MC Lee SiYoung smiling after glancing at LeeTeuk’s abs so try not to miss the episode if you want more Super Junior goodies.

Kim HyunJoong’s Samsung Card CFs Are Out!

SS501’s beloved leader Kim HyunJoong is currently endorsing Samsung Cards, and a few cute CFs have been released.

Two versions of the CF are out: a 15-second version and a 30-second version. In the CFs, Kim HyunJoong is praising himself and asking the the grandma at the cashier for a discount because he’s a celebrity. However, the grandma has a puzzled look as she says, “Who are you?”, causing Kim HyunJoong to quickly leave.

The Wonder Girls ended their Korean promotions by performing their latest release of “2 Different Tears.” They will be returning to the states to prepare for their North American tour. Super Junior’s Heechul Meets Wonder Girls’ Sohee

In the recent episode of Family Outing 2, Wonder Girls graces everyone with their guesting and of course, the huge Wonder Girls fan, Super Junior’s Heechul.

Heechul finally meets his ideal girl Sohee! Just how did it go?

Upon meeting Sohee, Heechul showed his shyness–a different side of him, indeed. He is able to laugh and joke around other members, but when Sohee is around, he would become quiet and speechless; causing much laughter from the family.

It only took a nick of time until Heechul finally relaxes around Sohee. Both are able to become close very fast because we all know that Heechul would not pass this moment without sharing a good memory with Sohee.

During the Calvary game, Heechul even took the punishment for Sohee! Heechul also engages himself with saying tons of word jokes to make Sohee laugh to show his affection to her.
