After releasing hot teaser photos which have already been successful in stirring fans up,SS501 is ready to come back to stages all across South Korea! Entertainment companyDSP Media recently released an official statement about the boys’ comeback details, which will surely cause further excitement for Triple Ss everywhere.
DSP explained that each song in the album is accompanied by beautiful piano music, rather than electronic editing, showing their hopes to enter the current autotune-addicted music scene with something both different and refreshing. The songs have been produced and mixed by only the best of producers, including mix engineer producer Kevin KD Davis, who holds several Grammy awards, as well as the past honor of working with American artists such as Rihanna and Ne-yo. Producer Kevin Lewis, the achiever of more than 50 Golden Discs, also took part in the production of SS501’s album.
However, the good news doesn’t stop there! The title song, ‘Love Ya,’ “will be accompanied by harmonious orchestra band [playing] along with piano background arrangements,” and when paired up with the emotion-filled voices of SS501, the track is sure to be a hit! It’ll only get better with mixing and producing by Steven Lee, John Legend, and producer ofKanye West’s music Ken Lewis. In addition, the first track, ‘Let Me be the One,’ is said to be a soulful R&B tune composed by Steven Lee, Sean Alexander (who also worked on past hit ‘Love Like This’), Andrew Mieux, and mixed by the same guy who produced English hits such as ‘Rude Boy’ and Ne-yo’s ‘So Sick,’ “Because of You,’ and ‘Closer.’
SS501’s last song, ‘Until Forever,’ was fully produced in England. It’s said to be a catchy pop track heavily influenced by European music styles. This song has gained an exceptional amount of hype, as SS501’s very own Heo Yeoungsaeng wrote the lyrics himself!
SS501 previously performed an incredibly popular song known as ‘Crazy 4 U’ during their Personal Asia Tours, which received a lot of love from fans everywhere. This hot dance tune will be included in the album as well, so look out for it!
The album, which will be called DESTINATION, took the boys three months to work on. They’ll get the chance to showcase all their dedication during their first comeback stage onKBS Music Bank on June 4, a few days after their May 27 album release date. However, a special edition of the album will be available for pre-orders on May 24, so be sure to get your hands on a copy! Korean fans will also be able to attend a fansigning session on this day, during which they will be able to pre-order the album and get it signed.
Stay tuned on KPOPLIVE as we follow SS501 while they begin promotions for this promising new album!
