Kim HyunJoong to be Cast in IRIS 2?

After the soaring popularity and success of Korean drama IRIS, many fans were eager for a sequel. Their wishes are coming true, as the sequel, Athena, is set to be released sometime this year!

According to Taewon Entertainment, Kim HyunJoong is a possible candidate for the cast of Athena, but nothing has been confirmed yet. An official of DSP Entertainment said that “We can’t say anything is certain but Kim HyunJoong has shown great interest in Athenaand it is true that he wants to take the role.”

Athena will start going into production in June. Not only will Athena bring us breathtaking scenes full of action, but it will also show us some beautiful scenery from all over the world!Athena will be filmed in various countries, like Italy, Switzerland, Singapore, and New Zealand!
