2PM Faces Another Health Issue; Wooyoung Diagnosed with Vocal Cord Nodules

ust last week, 2PM’s Junsu was rushed to the hospital after he felt pain in his knee following their performance on KBS Music Bank. But that doesn’t seem to be the end of 2PM’s health concerns.Junsu updated his twitter shortly after, saying to his fans: “im gonna be okay!! Don’t wry!”

Despite having a cast on his right leg, Junsu has been seen this past week performing on music shows with the rest of 2PM.

Now, according to a spokesperson from 2PM’s agency, Wooyoung’s voice has been suffering due to excessive practice from preparation for their comeback. After being taken to the hospital, he was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, a condition in which small masses of tissue grow on the vocal folds.

Wooyoung has been adviced by his doctor to avoid singing. Because of this, he will not be singing live on music programs in order to relieve strain on his vocal cords.

Wooyoung will continue with his schedule as an MC on KBS 2TV Kim SeungWoo’s Win Winand SBS Inkigayo.
